ecobeton Aug, 2022	We installed eight large infiltration tanks for logistics centre "E.Z. Tower" next to Bierset airport, with a storage capacity of no less than 15,000 litres per infiltration tank. In other words, 120,000 litres of infiltration volume that requires only a limited soil intake. The equivalent in conventional drains would take up an area of no less than 800 m²! "This solution guarantees our customer a sustainable solution for collecting rainwater and returning it to the groundwater table, even during heavy rainfall. ECOBETON WATER TECHNOLOGIES IN HET VRT-JOURNAAL! In the VRT report of 19 May 2022 about the importance of larger rainwater tanks in the fight against climate change, our account manager Conny Princen came into the picture: "Why our smart rainwater tanks with infiltration make the difference!" In order to save valuable potable water and to bridge dry periods, a rainwater tank of at least 5,000 liters is mandatory. But that is often too little! Patrick Willems, hydrologist and hydraulic engineer (KU Leuven), also recommends installing a 10,000 liter rainwater tank. As a result, households have more rainwater available and subsequently use less tap water. The rainwater is managed so efficiently, which benefits our entire water management. The staff party for all employees took place in Hasselt on 24 June! It was a great evening with good food and music, culminating in the legendary Joe Hardy!
